Autoclave / Steriliser Calibration Validation Maintenance and Service
Autoclave Validation is a mandatory annual requirement to comply with Australian Standards 4815, accreditation bodies such as AGPAL and Public Health Regulation.
As the owner or user of an autoclave it is your responsibility to ensure a schedule of servicing and periodic validation testing is in place, making sure that you are meeting your obligations around infection control.

Calibration and Validation
EasiMed provides routine service and our technicians will check, calibrate, validate and repair your autoclave. Upon completion of the work, we will provide the service report and detailed information of the work to meet the requirements of your Accreditation Audit and Public Health Regulation.
The performance qualification validation process consists of three consecutive cycles, with two biological indicator per cycle, one in the cold spot and one in the challenge load pack, to ensure proper disinfection is accomplished on a consistent basis.
Sterilisation and documentation requirements
Our technician has been trained and developed a validation service check list to validate your autoclave in accordance with AS/NZS 4815:2006 Office-based health care facilities – Reprocessing of reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment.
We are able to provide you with an evidence-based technical report confirming that your autoclave is working in line with the relevant Australian standards, in particular Steriliser standards AS/NZS 4815:2006 which is for office-based health care facilities.
